38LAMP REPLACEMENTLAMP REPLACEWhen the life of the Projection Lamp of this projector draws to an end,the LAMP REPLACE indicator lights yellow. If this indicator lightsyellow, replace the projection lamp with a new one promptly.Turn off the projector and disconnect the AC plug. Allow theprojector to cool for at least 45 minutes.Loosen 2 screws with a screwdriver and pull out Lamp Assemblyby grasping Handle.13Replace Lamp Assembly with a new one and tighten 2 screwsback into position. Make sure that Lamp Assembly is setproperly. Replace Lamp Cover and tighten the screw.4To remove Lamp Cover, remove the screw with a screwdriver.2Connect AC Power Cord to the projector and turn on theprojector.6Follow these steps to replace the lamp assembly.Reset the Lamp Replace Counter.Refer to “LAMP REPLACE COUNTER” on the next page .5LAMPASSEMBLYHANDLELAMP COVERORDER REPLACEMENT LAMPReplacement Lamp can be ordered through your dealer. When ordering a Projection Lamp, give thefollowing information to the dealer. Model No. of your projector : PLC-XT10A/PLC-XT15A Replacement Lamp Type No. : POA-LMP59(Service Parts No. 610 305 5602)For continued safety, replace with a lamp assembly ofthe same type.Do not drop a lamp assembly or touch a glass bulb! Theglass can shatter and may cause injury.Allow a projector to cool, for at least 45 minutes beforeyou open Lamp Cover.
