Using The Main Screen10 English4 PICTURE QUALITYSpecifies the video quality at five levels.Note:If [PRE/POST] is set at other than “0%/100%” on the[IMAGE TRANSFER SETTINGS] screen, the valuesof [RESOLUTION] and [PICTURE QUALITY] cannotbe changed.5 Calling the preset positionsWhen you call the preset number higher than 8,select the number from the pull-down menu andclick the [GO] button.6 Registering the preset positionYou can register the current camera orientationalong with the zoom and focus settings as the presetposition.To register the preset position, select the number tobe used for current setting from the pull-down menuand click the [MEMORY] button.7 DAY/NIGHT (only for the cameras with thisfunction)Allows you to change the DAY/NIGHT switchingconditions configured using the camera menu.8 AUXThese buttons are reserved for additional functions.The function corresponding to the number selectedin the pull-down menu will be performed. Thefunction allocated to respective numbers dependson the camera models.9 [MAIN SETTINGS] button (See page 12)Displays the menu buttons for an administrative user(“admin”).■ Other operations1 Viewing and saving still images (Capturebutton)The capture button displays the still image at themoment of clicking the button in a separate window.• While displaying the still image, the live video inthe main screen continues to be shown as amoving picture.• To save the still image, right-click on the stillimage to be saved to display context menu andselect “Save As.”• To close the window displaying the still image,click [Close].2 Using the alarm output (Alarm remotebutton)When the ALARM OUT2 option is set to “REMOTE”on the camera, you can operate the alarm outputremotely.Clicking the alarm remote button initiates the alarmoutput. After the duration specified in the setting onthe camera, the output stops automatically. Whilethe alarm is being output, the alarm remote button isdisplayed in red.3 Changing the orientation of the cameralensClicking the image changes the orientation of thecamera lens so that the clicked point moves to themiddle of the screen.Note:The clicked point may not move to the middle of thescreen depending on the tilt angle.-For the orientation of the cameralens and the zoom and focusingstatus, these buttons call thepreset position registered in “6Registering the preset position”below.AUTOSwitches the video displayautomatically between color andblack-and-white depending ondaytime or nighttime brightness.COLOR Always displays the color videoimage.B/W Always displays theblack-and-white video image.21
