If the targetmark does not appear, or if it appears at a position that is different from thepoint you wish to focus, you can refocus, for example, by changing theshooting angle.e The large target mark appears when the camera focuses on a wide area inthe center of the screen.HINTShoot a still image while recording a video clipe If you press the still image shooting button while recording a video clip, theframe is also saved as a still image. Note, however, that in this case the flashwill not operate.e If the still image resolution is set to a setting other than [, and you pressthe still image shooting button while recording a video clip, the displayedimage stops briefly and then returns to video clip recording after the stillimage is captured.Notee The data for a video clip is very large. Therefore, be aware that if the videoclip is uploaded to a computer to be played back, the computer may not beable to play back the video fast enough, making it appear jerky. (The videowill always be displayed properly on the LCD monitor or a television.)e Depending on the card, shooting may end even before the possible shootingtime indicated on page 167.
