Place the servo andservo cover in position without the mountingscrews. Use a ruler to measure the length of thecontrol rod.Dry fit servo and measure control rod}}}} Bend a V into the control rod halfway betweenthe two attachment points. Make a Z-bend atthe opposite end of the control rod ensuring thelength matches the measured distance. The Vwill allow for minor adjustments of the controlrod length.}}}} Tip: for greater ease of adjustability a controlrod adjustment mechanism such as threadedclevises or linkage stoppers can be used.}}}} Remove the aileron servo cover, thread thecontrol rod through the control horn and theservo arm and re-mount the flap servo coverwith all four screws. Feed the servo wirethrough the channel provided in the wing.Completed aileron control rod}}}} Connect the flap servos to your radio and setthem to the fully retracted position (regularflight mode). Place the flaps in the fullyretracted position (0° of flaps).}}}} Create the flap control rods in the same mannerthe aileron control rods were created. Insert theflap control rods and mount the flap servosusing all four servo cover screws.Completed control rod assemblies
