Operating in MPT trunked mode 87Changing group membershipThere are two methods of changing your membership oftalkgroups or scan groups. You may be able to either:■ use you Quick Access menu to join a single talkgroup orscan group, or■ use the Main menu to change your membership ofmultiple groups.Selecting a new group using your QuickAccess menuYou may be able to use your Quick Access menu to select anew talkgroup or scan group. Selecting a new group meansthat the previously selected group is automatically deselected.To select a talkgroup or scan group:1 Press the left selection key to enterthe Groups menu.The currently selected talkgroup or scangroup has + beside it.2 Scroll through the list of groups, untilthe talkgroup or scan group you want toselect appears.3 Press Join or wait for three seconds.The previous group is deselected and thenew talkgroup ID may appear inthe display.To make a call to the talkgroup shown, you may be able tobriefly press the PTT key.Note: It is not possible to make a call to a scan group, but youcan call any of its constituent groups.Talkgroup994Talkgrp Menu234Groups992Scan1 +Back JoinTalkgroup992Talkgrp Menu234
