If the Unit is used as a Repeater for five minutes every day,you can expect new batteries to last about six months.Q3: I want to use the Unit outdoors, is the Unit waterproof,moistureproof and dustproof?A: The RTR-500 is not waterproof, moistureproof or dustproof. If you wish touse outdoors, or in areas where the Unit may come into contact withmoisture, water or excessive dust, we suggest using some type of case toplace the RTR-500 out of which cables can be passed.Q4: Is it possible to change the batteries while the Unit is being usedas a Repeater and is in operation?A: Except for when the Unit is carrying out wireless communication (the Unit'sLED is blinking), the batteries can be changed at anytime.(If changed during wireless communication, the communication will fail.)
