Thedisplay shows the current tempo adjustment.Push the slider in the “–” direction to slow the tempo,and pull it in the “+” direction to speed it up.Use the TEMPO key to change the tempo sliderrange. Press the TEMPO key to cycle through the fol-lowing tempo ranges.±8% (default setting), ±16%, ±32%, ±100%The new range setting becomes effective after itflashes on the display for a few seconds.NOTEWhen an attached TT-M1 is turned on, the temposlider and TEMPO key do not function. Playbacktempo value is set by the TT-M1 (see "TT-M1 use"on page ).Setting the tempo rangePress the OUT key during loop playback to changethe OUT point and restart loop playback from the INpoint. The new OUT point is determined accordingto the Setup menu OUT KEY setting.HALFThe new OUT point is set to a point halfway betweenthe IN point and the OUT point.SETThe OUT point is set at the location where the OUTkey is pressed during playback.ªªChanging the OUT pointPress the OUT key while holding down the SHIFTkey to enable use of the JOG dial for editing the OUTpoint during loop playback. Turn the dial clockwiseto lengthen the loop (or counterclockwise to shortenit) during playback until the desired OUT point isreached. Press the OUT key at the desired momentto set the new OUT point and exit OUT point adjust-ment mode.The adjustment will affect the loop playback in realtime.Adjusting the OUT pointPress the IN key while holding down the SHIFTkey during or after adjustment of the OUT point torestore the OUT point to its pre-adjustment position(the display shows OUT RET).Restoring the OUT pointRe-loop playbackPress the RE-LOOP/EXIT key to restart loop play-back immediately when it is off but the IN and OUTpoints are still set.Press the IN key for immediate playback from the INpoint when it is set (like a HOT CUE key).Cancel the loop (IN and OUT) points with either ofthe following actions.Press the RE-LOOP/EXIT key while holding downthe SHIFT key.
