IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS2 TASCAM CD-GT2Listening to CDsWhen the guitar cancel function is ON, the icon at the topof the screen appears in inverse.Depending on the music, the guitar cancel function may notreduce the recorded guitar sound sufficiently. If this occurs,changing the PART and RANGE settings might make thereduction more effective. Listen to the music as you adjust thesettings to achieve the best effect.NOTEDepending on the recording of the music, reduction ofthe guitar part with this function may not be possible.PARTAdjust this setting to match the stereo position of the soundthat you want to reduce between LEFT 10 and RIGHT 10.The initial setting is CENTER.RANGESelect MIDDLE or ALL for the range of sound reduction. Thedefault setting is MIDDLE.Loop playbackWith this function you can continuously repeat the playback ofa selection that you make (loop playback).1 Press the IN/OUT key during playback to set the pointwhen you want to start loop playback. The currentposition is set as the IN point, and the symbolappears below the playback position display bar atthat point.2 Press the IN/OUT key at the point when you want loopplayback to stop. The current position is set as theOUT point, and the symbol appears below the play-back position display bar at that point. After settingthe OUT point, loop playback begins between the INand OUT points.The play mode icon appears on the left of the display.To stop loop playback, press either the LOOP key or theIN/OUT key.If you press the LOOP key, the loop interval settings are saved,and if you press the LOOP key again loop playback of the setinterval begins again.If you press the IN/OUT key, the loop interval settings (INpoint and OUT point settings) are canceled.
