Previ-ously, only the TRUE(40h) command was used, butunits such as the Mackie HDR-24/96 and MDR-24/96 require the MASKED(41h) setting. The DM-24 isnow fully compatible with the Mackie recorderfamily.Transport Lock Pressing the 2ND F. and STOPkeys together locks the transport keys. This is usefulto stop accidental playback or recording when youare leaning over the DM-24 adjusting parameters.Press this key combination again to unlock the trans-port keys. The popup changesInternal MIDI Time Code generator TheDM-24 now has its own generator, which can be usedwith DAWs, etc. which do not respond to MMCcommands. By slaving them to MTC from the DM-24, you can use the transport keys of the DM-24 tocontrol these DAWs.
