Service Manual May 2015Ground Controls78 GS-2669 BE • GS-3369 BE • GS-4069 BE Part No. 12571065-6Service Override ModeThe Electronic Control Module (ECM) isprogrammed with a Service Override mode.Service Override mode is only indented for certaincircumstances and is not part of the normalmachine operation. Service Override mode shouldonly be accessed by trained personal to repairfaults and/ or a malfunctioning machine.Note: Service Override mode can only be enteredat the ground controls and is intended to allow theplatform to be raised or lowered. Once the platformhas reached the maximum allowable height, thesystem will exit Service Override mode. Repeat thisprocedure to lower the platform.Note: When in Service Override mode, an audiblealarm will sound.Note: Before entering Service Override mode, faultcodes or the malfunction affecting the operation ofthe machine should be fully understood to ensureService Override mode is required.Note: Perform this operation on a firm, levelsurface and if equipped, with the outriggers autoleveled or fully retracted.Tip-over hazard. Operating themachine on a surface that is notlevel while in Service Overridemode will result in death orserious injury. Follow properoperating procedures and safetyprecautions. Do not use ServiceOverride mode if you are nottrained and familiar with theoperation of the machine.1 Turn the key switch to the ground controlsposition and pull out the red Emergency Stopbutton to the on position at the platformcontrols.2 Press and hold the ground control scroll upand scroll down buttons.Ground Control Menu Buttons1 scroll down button2 enter button3 scroll up button4 escape button5 LCD display3 Pull out the red Emergency Stop button to theon position at the ground controls.Result: The ground controls LCD display willshow the following:4 Release the Scroll Up and Scroll Downbuttons after the ground controller powers up.
