(11)PRIORITY SCAN CHANNELTo set a priority scan channel:1. Press select/ momentarily four times while instandby mode to enter Priority Scan Channelmode. The current priority channel will beindicated.2. Press or key to increase or decrease thedesired channel number.3. Press select/ three times to confirm and exitto standby mode. PRI will be displayed when apriority channel has been selected.BCL (Busy Channel Lockout) ON/OFFBCL is used when CTCSS or DCS is selected to prevent transmission whenthe uh043sx detects a transmission from another unit using the same CTCSSor DCS code.To set BCL ON/OFF:1. Press select/ momentarily five times while instandby mode to enter BCL ON/OFF mode.The current BCL status will be indicated.2. Press or key to select ON (on) or OFF (oF).3. Press select/ two times to confirm and exit tostandby mode. BCL will be displayed when BCL onhas been selected.SCAN CHANNEL MEMORYTo store a channel into Scan Channel Memory:1. Select desired channel using ch/hi/lo key and or key.2. Press and hold mem/SCN key. MEM will appear on the display.Repeat steps 1 and 2 to clear channel from Scan Channel Memory.
