242. Tap Cold Boot.The system is reset and you will lose all dataincluding all files in the RAM memory.Method 2: From Hardware1. Remove the battery compartment cover and the main battery. See thesection of Installing the Battery.2. Turn the backup battery switch off.3. Turn the backup battery switch on.4. Put the battery back into the batterycompartment and re-place the batterycompartment cover.System will cold boot.NOTE: When you perform hard reset, the data andtime settings will not be retained. Formats,preferences, and other settings arerestored to their default factory settings. |
