Your hearing aid’s telecoiloption can help you listen in public placesequipped with telecoil compatible assistivelistening devices such as a loop system. Whenyou see this symbol, it means thatthere is loop system installed; thisloop system is compatible withyour hearing aid. Please contactyour hearing healthcare professional for moreinformation on loop systems.Connecting to external audio sourcesYour hearing aids may feature anoptional direct audio input (DAI)to connect to other audio sources,such as a stereo or television,using an FM system or a cable. TheuDirect™ 2, an optional wirelessaccessory, also has a DAI jack.Easy-DAI automatically selects your direct audioinput program when a DAI signal is detected byyour hearing aids. A short melody will play toconfirm that easy-DAI is activated. When youdisconnect the DAI input, your hearing aidswill return to the program you were in prior toswitching.Ask your hearing healthcare professional forinformation about the direct audio input systemand a connector cord.
