After the low battery warning, you mayexperience some reduction in sound quality.This is normal and can be remedied by insertingfresh batteries into the hearing aids.If you are not able to hear the low batterywarning, your hearing healthcare professionalcan change the pitch or loudness of the lowbattery warning. If you prefer, it can be turnedoff entirely.Your hearing aids are designed to generate alow battery warning every 30 minutes until youchange the batteries, but depending on thecondition of the batteries, they may die beforeanother low battery warning occurs. Therefore,it is recommended that the batteries arereplaced as soon as possible once you hear thelow battery warning.Replacing the battery1. Gently swing out the batterydoor with your fingernail.2. Grasp the battery with yourthumb and index finger andremove.3. Insert the new battery into thebattery compartment with theplus (+) sign on the batteryfacing the same way as theplus (+) sign on the side of thebattery door. This will ensure that the batterydoor closes properly.Note: If the battery is inserted incorrectly, thehearing aid will not turn on.4. Close the battery door.2.3.1.4.
