10 11Turning your hearing aids on and offYour hearing aids have a battery door that actsas an on/off switch and that allows access tothe battery compartment.1. On: Close the battery doorfully.Note: It may take 5 secondsbefore the hearing aid turnson. Your hearing healthcareprovider can increase thestart up delay if required.2. Off: Open the battery doorall the way to turn off thehearing aid or access andchange the battery.1.Battery informationTo replace the battery, fully open the batterydoor for access to the battery compartment.Low battery warningTwo long beeps indicate the hearing aid batteryis low. After the low battery warning, soundsmay not be as clear. This is normal and can befixed by changing the batteries in the hearingaids.If you are not able to hear the low batterywarning, your hearing healthcare professionalcan change its pitch or loudness. If you prefer, itcan be turned off entirely.Your hearing aids are designed to generate alow battery warning every 30 minutes until youchange the batteries, but depending on thecondition of the batteries, they may die beforeanother low battery warning occurs. Therefore,it is recommended that the batteries arereplaced as soon as possible once you hear thelow battery warning.2.
