Using Unison™ with Telecoil for the TelephoneUnison hearing devices come equipped with an optionaltelecoil that can help you listen on the telephone. Thetelecoil program is selected with the program button.When using the telecoil, center the telephone receiveron the hearing device and move the receiver along thehearing device to locate the clearest, strongest signal.You may have to increase the volume of your hearingdevice slightly. Your hearing device will beep toindicate which program you are in.Assistive Listening DevicesListening in Public PlacesUnison’s telecoil can also help you listen in public placesequipped with telecoil compatible assistive listeningdevices such as a loop system. If your hearinginstruments do not operate when the telecoil is on, theloop system may not be operating or you may be in a“dead” spot.
