C-IQ menu Select “C-IQ” in the Start menu.: The “C-IQ” menu appears.The C-IQ menu provides the following options:❑ Code input: Input of access codes for the activation of C-IQ products.❑ C-IQ SMS list: The system has been prepared to process the C-IQ code by SMS. To usethis function, a suitable phone module is required.❑ My C-IQ: Overview of the currently active C-IQ products.❑ Prepaid C-IQ: Management of your prepaid C-IQ account.❑ Easy Start: Activation option for preinstalled C-IQ products.❑ Preview: Selection and activation of free C-IQ preview products (products availablefor a limited time).❑ Configuration: Settings for the status display of your activated products (“Expiringsoon” / “Starting soon”).❑ Info: Information on C-IQ.❑ C-IQ Service: Contact data of the C-IQ Service Centre.✎ The Navi ID (unit identification) and the version number of the inserted map DVD/CDare displayed in the upper section of the screen.Registering the system and activating productsWhen registering your system or purchasing or returning C-IQ products, you should al-ways have the Navi ID and the version number of the inserted map DVD/CD ready beforecontacting the C-IQ Service.In the “C-IQ” menu: Note down the 8-figure code next to “Navi ID” and the version information relatingto the map software (to the right of the Navi ID).✎ You can also find the Navi ID in the “Code input” menu.✎ In some cases, it may be necessary to specify the Initial ID in order to identify yoursystem unequivocally. This ID can be found in the “C-IQ –> Configuration” menu.
