APPENDIX C: INSTALLATIONInstallation of Profibus DP in Vacon CXS drivesNOTE: The option boards on the pictures may not look exactly the same as the one you havepurchased. These instructions are, still, applicable.A Remove the control panel and the panel base.B Remove the fixing screw from the controlboard and replace it with a stand sleeve (4).C Connect the power cable (5) to terminal X5of the control board. The power cable canalso be connected to terminal X6 if terminalX5 is already reserved by the power cablefrom the power board.D Remove the protective foil of the plasticboard and place the plastic board above thecontrol board. Be sure to place the plasticboard correctly so that the stand sleeve (4)comes out through the hole on the board.E Place the board on the protective plasticboard (6) and connect the data cable (2) toterminal X14 of the control board. The standsleeve should come out through the metal-edged hole.F Secure the board on the stand sleeve withthe screw (3) attached.4564X1423 |
