Installation and Servicing ecoTEC plus307.1.3 Final flush of the heating system (hot)• Operate the appliance until the heating system is upto temperature.• Check the heating system for leaks.• Connect a hose to the drain valve located at thelowest position of the heating system.• Shut off the appliance, open the drain valve and allbleed valves on the radiators and allow the water toflow out of the heating system and the boiler quicklyand fully.• Close the drain valve.• Fill the heating system again with water.• If fitted to a sealed system.Release water from the system until the systemdesign pressure is attained. (The actual readingon the digital pressure gauge should ideally be 0.5bar plus an additional pressure corresponding tothe highest point of the system above the baseof the boiler 10 m head equals an additional 1 barreading on the pressure gauge. The minimumpressure should not be less than 1 bar in anyinstallation.)
