When the heating flowtemperature falls below this value again and the errorhas been reset the heat pump switches back on.a Caution!Danger of damage to the floor.Set the value for the floor protectioncircuit ensuring that it is not highenough to damage the floor as a resultof excessively high temperatures.Phase monitoringThe sequence and existence of phases (clockwise rotat-ing field) on the 400 V voltage supply are continuouslymonitored during commissioning and operation. If thesequence is not correct or if a phase breaks down, theheat pump is switched off due to the error to avoiddamage to the compressor.Freezing protection functionThe outlet temperature of the heat source is constantlymeasured. If the heat source outlet temperature fallsbelow a specific value, the compressor temporarilyshuts off with the error message 20 or 21. If these er-rors occur three times in a row there is a fault-inducedshutdown.For the geoTHERM VWS heat pumps you can set thevalue (Default setting -10 °C) for the freezing protectionin the installation assistant A4.For the geoTHERM VWW heat pumps a default value of+4 °C is set. This value cannot be changed.3.4 Design of the heat pumpThe types of heat pump available are listed below.
