This can take some timedepending on the mobile phone andthe amount of data to be transferred.During this period operation of themobile phone via the Infotainmentsystem is possible only to a limitedextent.NoteNot every mobile phone supports allfunctions of the Phone portal.Therefore deviations from the rangeof functions described with thesespecific mobile phones are possible.Control elements for phoneoperationThe most important phone specificcontrol elements are the following:On instrument panelm knob: turn to adjust volume.I button: press to display phonemenu.On steering wheelp button:■ If Phone portal inactive: 1st press:display phone menu; 2nd press:redial (if phone connected andnumber stored in redial list).■ If Phone portal active: short press:accept incoming call or end activecall; long press: reject incomingcall.o thumbwheel: turn to adjustvolume.PrerequisitesThe following prerequisites must bemet in order to use the handsfreemode of the Infotainment system:■ The Bluetooth function of theInfotainment system must beactivated 3 74.■ The Bluetooth function of themobile phone must be activated(see user guide of the device).■ The mobile phone must be set to"visible" (see user guide of thedevice).■ The mobile phone must be pairedto the Infotainment system 3 74.Activating the handsfree modePress the I button.The PHONE menu appears on thedisplay.
