P Electrostatic charging (formation ofsparks or flame)Under certain circumstances, electrostat-ic charging can occur on the unit due tothe rate of flow of the coating materialwhen spraying. On discharging this canresult in the emergence of sparks or fire.It is therefore necessary that the unit is always earth-ed through the electrical installation. An explosive gas/airmixture can be produced.
