Altering or defeating the speed-adjusting mechanism causing the engine tooperate outside its design parameters.8.2 Limited Defect Warranty for Wacker Neuson Emission ControlSystemsThe Emission Control Warranty is valid only for the U.S.A., its territories, andCanada.Wacker Neuson Sales Americas, LLC, N92 W15000 Anthony Avenue,Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, (hereinafter “Wacker Neuson”) warrants to the initialretail purchaser, and each subsequent owner, that this engine/equipment, includingall parts of its emission control systems, have been designed, built, and equippedto conform at the time of initial sale to all applicable emission regulations of theU.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and that the engine/equipment isfree of defects in materials and workmanship which would cause this engine/equipment to fail to conform to EPA regulations during its warranty period.Wacker Neuson is also liable for damages to other engine/equipment componentscaused by a failure of any warranted parts during the warranty period.Limited Defect Warranty Period for Wacker Neuson Emission ControlSystemsThe warranty period for this engine/equipment begins on the date of sale to theinitial purchaser and continues for a minimum of two (2) years.
