Tight-en the nuts until the shield moves freely but is notloose.WARNINGDO NOT operate the machine without thegrass deflector shield attached and in thelowest possible position.Attach ShieldDischarge Shield Installationon Side Discharge DeckPTO Shaft Guard InstallationPosition the shaft guard as shown and mount withtwo (2) 1/4-20 x 1/2 in. bolts.Tilt-Up Roller Wheel InstallationMount the two (2) tilt-up roller wheels on the brack-ets on the rear skirt of the deck housing using theP/N 8490 axle bolt, 3/8 in. wave spring washer and3/8-16 in. Whiz locknut. Tighten the axle bolt untilthe wheel rolls freely, but is not loose.
