6 7Adjust the water level. (See Nos. 7 & 8 in “Plumbing and Setting theWater Level”, pages 8 & 9.)Slide the flanges of the humidifier reservoir into the mounting bracket untilthe reservoir’s front flange comes in contact with the edge of the duct.Secure the humidifier to the duct with the screws provided.Option B requires a transition to bemade, and usually needs duct reinforce-ment to hold the humidifier securely inplace.NOTE: For this configuration, the humidi-fier is mounted on the outside of the ple-num, rather than the inside, so as not torestrict airflow.DANGER: Wear safety glasses whencutting or drilling. Do not cut or drillinto any air conditioning components orelectrical enclosures during installation.Electrocution is possible if you comein contact with a live electrical wire;blindness can occur if refrigerant con-tacts your eyes.To install Option B:5.6.7.Option C requires duct reinforcementto hold the humidifier securely in place.DANGER: Wear safety glasses whencutting or drilling. Cut outthe duct opening.CAUTION: DO NOT attach themounting bracket before the hole inthe ductwork has been cut.Attach the mounting bracket to theductwork with sheet metal screws.Adjust the water level. (See Nos. 7 &8 in “Plumbing and Setting the WaterLevel”, pages 8 & 9.)1.2..4.Slide the flanges of the humidifier reservoir into the mounting bracket.Secure the humidifier to the duct with the screws provided.NOTE: See separate wiring instruction manual, “Wiring Instructionsfor High-Capacity Steam Humidifiers”.5.6.Construct a transition and attach itto the plenum. (Additional humidifiersupport will be necessary for thisconfiguration.)Place the mounting bracket (provided)at the base of the transition.Use a marker to trace around theinside of the mounting bracket. Cutout the duct opening.CAUTION: DO NOT attach themounting bracket before the hole inthe ductwork has been cut.1.2..Attach the L-shaped bracket to the top/front of the humidifier so that thevertical wall is toward the reservoir.Adjust the water level.
