Lo ading Pap erYou can manually confirm and/or change the paper settings (suchas weight, size, type, etc.) from the All Services/Setup Menu onthe printer Control Panel.KEY POINT: To change or confirm the tray settings from the AllServices screen, the System Administrator must program theSetup Menu in System Settings so that the Paper TrayAttributes feature is enabled. For more information, see yourSystem Administrator, or refer to the System AdministrationGuide, Chapter 8, Setups, the section entitled “Setup Menu.”1. From the Printer Control Panel All Services screen, selectSetup Menu.2. Select Paper Tray Attributes.3. Select the desired paper tray and select Change Settings.4. If necessary, select Paper Size.5. Select either Auto Size Detect or Variable.• If you select Auto Size Detect, select save to save andclose the window.• If you select Variable, the screen displays:a. Select the width and height of the paper by selectingthe up, down, right, and left buttons.b. Select Save.6. Select Paper Type/Color.7. Select the desired Paper Type and if applicable, the PaperColor, and then select Save.NOTE: If the optional OHCF (Tray 6) is attached, an additionalPaper Type option called Coated Stock is available.8. Select Save to return to the Tray screen.9. Select Save to return to the Paper Tray Attributes screen.10. Choose one of the following:a. If you want to change the attributes for another tray, repeatStep 2. - Step 9.b. If you finished, repeatedly select Close until you return tothe All Services screen.
