Therefore,you should avoid using this feature on the iGen3.• Anti-aliasing reduces the jagged appearance of lines andcurves in text and line art.Expert colorExpert color contains a set of tools for the skilled user to optimizecolor quality.• The Source color tab provides access to a list of source colorprofiles. This selection is used to translate undefined data inthe incoming job. DocuSP honors embedded source profiles.• The Output color tab provides access to a set of tools thatare applied as part of the color transformation from the deviceindependent space to the print engine CMYK space.– Halftones are screen patterns achieved by printing dotsor lines in a specific pattern. The distance between thedots is fixed. Dot size varies in accordance to the strengthof the color. The darker the color the larger the dot.Halftones supported on the iGen3 include 150 dot, 175dot, 200 dot and stochastic screens. The DC 20xx/60xxseries supports 150 dot, 200 dot, 200 line, 300 line, and600 line screens.Stochastic halftones randomly apply screens when thedifference in tone varies by different concentrations ofdots and by dot sizes.– Image ResampleInterpolation is a method to achieve maximum imagequality. Interpolation estimates a value of functionbetween two known values and attempts to produce asmooth transition between adjacent samples rather thanreplicating pixels which would result in “blocky” images.The supported interpolation methods include:Nearest neighborBi-linearSmart
