7 10.0-10.2 Feature EnhancementsThe following features were added in releases between 10.0 and 10.2 and are listed here as aconvenience for users.7.1 Turbo III speeds supported for Scan-To-NetThe 7.33 ips scanning mode which is enabled by turbo III feature key is now supported for scanto net scans in normal mode.7.2 Check Plot checkboxA new checkbox is now available to specify if check-plots should be printed during the scanningof a copy set or not. The checkbox is on the “Sets Build” screen.When scanning in a copy set, the system would often print each page as it was scanned in toshow the copy quality of the page. There was a complex algorithm that decided if a check-plotshould be printed based on the collation order and the stacking order of the tray or folder.Version 10.2 replaces the algorithm with a checkbox on the set build screen to allow the user tospecify if a check-plot should be printed or not regardless of collation.7.3 Copier Margin range increased to +/- 8 inchesThe margin settings for copies can now be specified up to +/- 8 inches. This menu can bereached by selecting the “Transform” key on the scanner UI and selecting “Margins”7.4 Disk Logging setting added to WebPMTOn the “Printer Setup” page there is a new checkbox for “Disk Logging” which is used forenabling and disabling the log of system messages to the hard drive. These messages areespecially useful to trained Xerox personnel when diagnosing problems. Turning disk logging offdoes not erase the log file, it simply closes it and does not write any more records to it. Turningdisk logging on begins to append new information to the bottom of the log file.The default setting is “ON”7.5 Added support for 440, 620 and 880mm rollsfor 6030/6050 printersSupport for these special ISO sizes has been added for the 6030/6050 printers.To use these sizes, the roll must be configured for the “Spa2” series.There is a known issue with using 880mm media causing YKE systems to lock-up.Page 12
