You can access the base finisher module staple drawerand top cover areas at any time. This feature is made availableonly if a finisher module is available to the printer.To unlock a finisher:1. From the Printer menu select [Unlock Finisher...]. The UnlockFinisher dialog window opens. The current state of eachfinisher is displayed. Each finisher dialog window is identifiedby a letter which corresponds to the DocuSP printer iconlocated at the top right corner of the GUI.2. Select the top cover and/or stapler drawer you want to unlockand click [Unlock]. Wait for the dialog to display Unlock beforeaccessing the finisher.NOTE: The system automatically unlocks both the top coverand stapler drawer when there is a paper or stapler jam.3. Click [Close] to exit the dialog window.Printer StatusThe Printer Status dialog presents information about each papertray and stacker.Accessing Printer StatusTo access printer status:1. Select [Printer Status...] from the DocuSP Printer menu. Youcan view the following fields:– Tray: Displays the feeder and tray number designationand the paper orientation in the tray.– Level: Shows the level of the paper in the tray. Eachfull block icon within the Level field representsapproximately 500 sheets of paper. If a tray is empty ayellow bar will fill the Level field.
