System Guide FinishingCommon Controller 6-3• The DT/DP 75/90 allows subset offsets to the top tray.However, the 61xx is not mechanically capable of jogging tothe top tray.PCL Offset/Separator/Subset Finishing commandThe use of the PCL separator command, &l1T, incombination with DocuSP queue defaults enables subsetfinishing for PCL jobs. The PCL separator command definesoffset segments of a job. PCL does not commonly supportfinishing; however, the use of the PCL separator commandallows offset segments of a job to be finished based on thefinishing default set on the queue. For example, if the queuedefault is portrait stitch, all segments of a job where the PCLseparator command has been used will be stitched.The placement guidelines are as follows:• Current Page Offset: If the current page is to be offset fromthe previous page, then the PCL separator command mustbe placed on the current page before any image data.Placement should be within the job/page control section orbefore.• Next Page Offset: If the next page in the document is to beoffset from the current page, the PCL separator commandmust be placed at the end of the current page after anyimage items.Access the Offset stacking switch by opening Printer Managerand selecting the Stacking tab and then select [Offset Stacking].To enable offset stacking for collated or uncollated jobs, selectthe enable checkbox. Both buttons are located under thecollated stacking and uncollated stacking sections.The following information should be considered when using PCLseparator command:• The offset switch in Printer Manager in the DocuSP softwaremust be set to ON. If the offset switch is set to OFF and a jobwith the PCL separator command is received, the sets will notoffset when the job is printed.• Multiple uses of the PCL separator command within a job willbe honored.• Multiple uses of the PCL separator command on a page willbe ignored.
