Composite black is the default setting on most printers.Symptom Cause SolutionFaded printouts/multiple colorsfaded.The toner cartridges are notXerox ® toner cartridges.Verify that the toner cartridges (CMYK)meet specifications, and replace them ifnecessary.The paper being used is outsidethe recommended specificationrange.Replace the paper with a recommendsize and type, and confirm that yourcontrol panel/print driver settings arecorrect. For details, see Supported Paperon page 48.The paper is damp. Replace the paper.The transfer belt unit is old ordamaged.Replace the transfer belt unit.The high-voltage supply isdefective.
