This can helpyou organize groups of copied documents by marking them with related information.Options:COMMENT The Comment option allows you to turn on or turn off the Comments option. Youcan add a new comment (20 characters maximum) or choose an existing commentfrom the list provided on the User Interface. Comments are printed in a fixed locationat the bottom of each copied page.Inserting a colon (:) in the Comments field enables the Bates Prefix option.Characters inserted to the left of the colon (:) will appear on the bottom left of thepage, while characters inserted to the right of the colon will form the Bates Prefixfor the page number on the bottom right of the page.PAGE NUMBERING You can use the Page Numbering option to print a page number in a fixed locationat the bottom of each copied page. Page numbers (from 1 to 999999999) willautomatically be sequenced by 1, beginning with the initial page number youdesignate.When a colon (:) is used in the Comments field, the page number format will bezero-filled (000000001, 00000002, 00000003). However, when a colon is not usedin the Comments field, the page number is formatted as a single digit (1, 2, 3).DATE You can use the Date option to print the current date in a fixed location at thebottom center of each copied page. The date printed will match the current dateset in the system.NOTE: Annotation cannot be used with paper sizes smaller than seven inches(length or width).
