13Owner’ Manual1. Choose Radio BandPress the BND Button anytime to ac-cess the radio function.The unit comes with five bands- threeFM Bands (FM1, FM2, and FM3) andtwo AM Bands (AM1, and AM2). Eachof the five bands can store up to sixpreset stations, for a total of 30 presetmemory stations.2. Radio Tune / Seek FunctionIn Radio Mode, turn the “>>| ” or “|<<“once, the radio frequency will proceedby one step.Press and hold the SEEK |<< or >>|Button for 2 seconds and the radiowill seek the next strong and clear fre-quency station. Repeat to seek morestations in your listening area with astrong signal.3. Mono / Stereo Reception ControlIn FM radio mode, Press SEL But-ton repeatly until the display shows‘MONO’ or “STEREO”. Roate the Volbutton to choose the reception con-trol, the word “MONO” shown on thescreen indicating the mono receptionis received.4. Save Your Preset StationsThere are six numbered preset but-tons which can store and recall sta-tions for each band. While listening toa radio station you would like to saveas a pre-set, press and hold one ofthe buttons numbered 1-6 until thepreset station number is shown. Thebutton you pressed is now the pre-setbutton for that station.5. Automatic Store / Preset ScanA. Automatic Scan & StoreWhile listening to the FM Radio, pressand hold the F/PS Button for 3 sec-onds. The receiver will automaticallyscan and save the station listeningto.While listening to the AM Radio, pressand the F/PS Button for 3 seconds.The receiver will automatically scanand save the station you are listen-ing to.B. Scan Saved StationsPress the F/PS button once to per-form the scanning functions. In FMmode, press the F/PS button andthe stations in that FM band willbe scanned; press the button in AMmode and scan the band stations ofthat AM Band.6. Local / DXPress SEL Button repeatly until thedisplay shown “LOC”. Rotate the VOLbutton to choose “LOC ON“ or “LOCOFF”.a. “LOC ON” showing on the display,means local reception is turned on;b. “LOC OFF” showing on the display,means distant reception is turned on.Local and distance reception set-ting can facilitate the radio reception,depending on the location in whichthe radio is being used.7. Reseting The UnitWhen the unit is off, press and holdMOD+BND button for 3 seconds. Theunit will reset itself and all the pre-vious saved radio stations will becleared.Radio Operation
