5XB2 TECH TIPSSHOCK TOWER PROTECTIONPlease follow the Instruction Manual and seal the edges of the shock towers with CA to reinforce them and help preventdelamination.Fine sandpaperUse fine sandpaper tosand smooth the edges ofall graphite parts.Apply CA glue to all edgesof the graphite parts.GRAPHITE PARTS PROTECTIONTIPProtect all XB2 Graphite Parts:• Front shock tower• Rear shock towerDRIVE SHAFT PIN SERVICINGTIPTo enjoy the longest possible lifespan of the drive shafts and diff outdrives, it is extremely important to properly service the drive shaft pins.Inspect the pins after every 3 hours of runtime. If the pins show any wear, replace them with new pins.For quick & easy drive pin replacements use#106000 HUDY Drive Pin Replacement Tooltogether with #106036 Ejector Pivot Pin &Alternating Pivot 2.5mm.To replace the worn pins use onlypremium HUDY drive pins #106053.Do not use drive shaftswhen the pins are worn.Press out the worn pins. Press in new pins andregularly inspect for wear.
