30 YASKAWA ELECTRIC SIEP C730600 50A YASKAWA AC Drive-Option Card MECHATROLINK-II Technical Manual9 Troubleshooting9 Troubleshooting Fault Detection ProcessingFaults can be detected by two methods: Drive fault detection and SI-T3 fault detection.The SI-T3 is notified of drive faults by the internal interface, and the SI-T3 sends the response data, ALARM orSTATUS.The SI-T3 notifies drive of SI-T3 faults by the internal interface, and the faults are simultaneously sent the response data,ALARM or STATUS.The following four types of faults can be detected. The subsequent operation varies depending on the type of fault.Table 19 Fault TypeTable 20 Fault Type and SI-T3 ProcessingNote:The meanings of each symbol are as follows.− : No change←: Fault notification from DriveWhen consecutive alarms occur, the SI-T3 provides notification of the most recent alarm with a MECHATROLINKresponse data. If warnings occur simultaneously, notification priority is given to the warning with the lowest warningcode.
