4 Allocating I/O Signals4.2 When Setting with Only the Maintenance Mode4-20HW1486011HW14860114.2.6 Terminal Output FunctionThis function allows numbers for non-communicating adapters to beoutput to the M register when the AB3607 is used.To utilize this function, set “ENABLE” to the “TERMINAL OUTPUTFUNCTION” on the AB3607 general setting window. Then, set the leadingnumber of the M register as the destination of the terminal output functionto the “M REGISTER”.The communication status is output to 4 registers (64 bits) from thedesignated M register. The bit equivalent to the terminal number (No.) ofthe non-communicating adapter is “1”.
