This capability is especially useful for confirming a callsign that may have been difficultto copy due to noise or QRM, etc.RecordingPress and hold in the [F7(P.BACK)] button for two sec-onds to initiate record-ing; the “ ” iconwill appear in the displayto confirm that recordingis in progress. The re-corder will store up to 15seconds of the Mainband (VFO-A) receivedaudio, and will retain the most-recent 15 seconds of audioon a running basis.Pressing the [F7(P.BACK)] button once more will haltthe recording, and the “ ” icon will go out.NOTE:When the transceiver isturned off, the contents ofthe recording memory willbe erased!P.BACK feature from the optional FH-2 Remote Control KeypadThe [P/B] key of the optional FH-2 Remote Control Keypad can also serve as a remote-control recording/playbackswitch.
