15Connecting to a Faraway Station Using WIRES-XReleasing the WIRES-X connectionPressing and holding for over one second switches the screen to the frequencydisplay screen, and [X ] displayed on the left side of the frequency display disappears.Tip The local node and the node or room remain connected.Connecting to analog nodesWhen the node you want to connect to is an analog station, use the DTMF function onthe transceiver.
