Basic components17cable is operating correctly before rein-stalling the top cowling. When the release lever is operated,both the front and rear cowling hooksshould be released at the same time. Ifnot, adjust the rear clamp cable adjust-ers. Make sure the cable operates smoothlyand is free of corrosion. Check that the cable is properly se-cured in the holder. When reinstalling the cowling, ensurethat both the front and rear locks haveoperated properly.
