Do not rotate the outboard motor 180°and operate the boat in reverse. Placethe gear shift in reverse to operate theboat in reverse. Use extra care when operating in re-verse. Too much reverse thrust cancause the outboard motor to lift out ofthe water, increasing the chance of ac-cident and personal injury.
