The indicator light shouldcome on for a few seconds, and thengo off.If the indicator light does not come oninitially when the key is turned to “ON”,or if the indicator light remains on, havea Yamaha dealer check the electricalcircuit.When the key is turned to “OFF” and 30seconds have passed, the indicatorlight will start flashing indicating the im-mobilizer system is enabled. After 24hours have passed, the indicator lightwill stop flashing, however the immobi-lizer system is still enabled.The self-diagnosis device also detectsproblems in the immobilizer system cir-cuits.
