44 EnTroubleshooting■ NetworkProblem Cause Remedy SeepageThe network featuredoes not function.The network parameters (IP address) havenot been obtained properly.Enable the DHCP server function on your router andset “DHCP” in the “Setup” menu to “On” on the unit.If you want to configure the network parametersmanually, check that you are using an IP addresswhich is not used by other network devices in yournetwork.37The unit does notdetect the PC.The media sharing setting is not correct. Configure the sharing setting and select the unit as adevice to which music contents are shared. —Some security software installed on yourPC is blocking the access of the unit toyour PC.Check the settings of security software installed onyour PC. —The unit and PC are not in the samenetwork.Check the network connections and your routersettings, and then connect the unit and the PC to thesame network.13The MAC address filter is enabled on theunit.In “MAC Filter” in the “Setup” menu, disable theMAC address filter or specify the MAC address ofyour PC to allow it to access to the unit.37The files in the PCcannot be viewed orplayed back.The files are not supported by the unit orthe media server.Use the file format supported by both the unit and themedia server. For information about the file formatssupported by the unit, see “Playing back music storedon media servers (PCs/NAS)”.22The Internet radiocannot be played.The selected Internet radio station iscurrently not available.There may be a network problem at the radio station,or the service may have been stopped. Try the stationlater or select another station.—The selected Internet radio station iscurrently broadcasting silence.Some Internet radio stations broadcast silence atcertain of times of the day. Try the station later orselect another station.—Access to the network is restricted by thefirewall settings of your network devices(such as the router).Check the firewall settings of your network devices.The Internet radio can be played only when it passesthrough the port designated by each radio station. Theport number varies depending on the radio station.—The application forsmartphone/tablet“Network PlayerController” does notdetect the unit.The MAC address filter is enabled on theunit.In “MAC Filter” in the “Network Setup”, disable theMAC address filter or specify the MAC address ofyour smartphone/tablet to allow it to access to theunit.37The unit and smartphone/tablet are not inthe same network.Check the network connections and your routersettings, and then connect the unit and smartphone/tablet to the same network.—Firmware update viathe network is failed.It may not be possible depending on thecondition of the network.Update the firmware via the network again. 39
