19EnRemote controlNo surroundeffect.Stereo playback is selected. Select the surround mode key tochange for surround playback (p.10).The volume is too low. Turn up the volume (p.8).The volume of the surround leftand right channels is low.Turn up the volume of the surround leftand right channels (p.11).The TV or playback device is setto output 2-channel audio (suchas PCM) only.Change the digital audio output settingon the TV or playback device.The correct SRT position mode isnot selected.Select a SRT POSITION key on theremote control which is best suited foryour listening environment.Sound beams are not reflectedeffectively off walls because of theshape of the room, etc.Use of the sound reflection board (soldseparately) is recommended (p.21).Noise is heard. The unit is too close to anotherdigital or high-frequency device.Move those devices away from theunit.Problem Cause RemedyThe unit cannotbe controlledusing the remotecontrol.The unit is out of the operatingrange.Use the remote control within theoperating range (p.2).The batteries are weak. Replace with new batteries (p.2).The remote control sensor of theunit is exposed to direct sunlightor strong lighting.Adjust the lighting angle, or repositionthe unit.The unit doesnot learn TVremote controloperations.The TV remote control key wasnot held down long enough.Hold down the key for more than 1second twice or three times (p.14).The TV remote control does notuse infrared signals.
