Therefore,it is essential to maintain the tires ingood condition at all times and replacethem at the appropriate time with thespecified tires.Tire air pressureThe tire air pressure should bechecked and, if necessary, adjustedbefore each ride.WARNINGEWA15371Operation of this vehicle with im-proper tire pressure may cause se-vere injury or death from loss ofcontrol.The tire air pressure must bechecked and adjusted on cold tires(i.e., when the temperature of thetires equals the ambient tempera-ture).Tire inspectionThe tires must be checked before eachride. If the center tread depth reachesthe specified limit, if the tire has a nailor glass fragments in it, or if the side-wall is cracked, have a Yamaha dealerreplace the tire immediately.Tire informationThis model is equipped with tube tires.Tires age, even if they have not beenused or have only been used occasion-ally. Cracking of the tread and sidewallrubber, sometimes accompanied bycarcass deformation, is an evidence ofageing.
