Remove:• Rear wheel axle• Rear wheelTIP• Push the rear wheel forward and remove thedrive chain from the rear wheel sprocket.• Do not depress the brake pedal with the rearwheel removed.EAM30025CHECKING AND REPLACING THE REARWHEEL SPROCKET1. Check:• Rear wheel sprocketMore than 1/4 tooth wear “a” Replace therear wheel sprocket and the drive sprocket asa set.Bent tooth Replace the rear wheel sprock-et and the drive sprocket as a set.2. Replace:• Rear wheel sprocketa. Remove the self-locking nuts and the rearwheel sprocket.b. Clean the rear wheel drive hub with aclean cloth, especially the surfaces thatcontact the sprocket.c.
