Safety is an obligation of the vehi-cle owner/operator. The most importantpoints of vehicle inspection, adjust-ment, and lubrication are explained onthe following pages.The intervals given in the periodicmaintenance and lubrication chartshould be simply considered as a gen-eral guide under normal riding condi-tions. However, depending on theweather, terrain, geographical location,and individual use, the maintenance in-tervals may need to be shortened.WARNINGEWA10321Failure to properly maintain the ve-hicle or performing maintenance ac-tivities incorrectly may increaseyour risk of injury or death duringservice or while using the vehicle.
