Advanced Phone Features79You can leave voice mails for someone else on the SIP-T22P IP phone. You can also listento the voice mails stored in a centralized location. When receiving a new voice mail, thephone will play a warning tone and the MESSAGE key LED will illuminate. The phoneLCD screen will prompt receiving a new voice mail and a flashing icon.NoteTo leave a voice mail:You can leave a voice mail for someone else when he/she is busy or inconvenient toanswer the call. Follow the voice prompt from the system server to leave the voice mail,and then hang up after completing the voice mail.To configure voice mail access codes via phone user interface:1. Press Menu->Messages->Voice Mail->Set Voice Mail.2. Press or to highlight the account which you want to set, press the 123 softkey to select the proper input mode and then enter the voice mail access code.3. Press the Save soft key to accept the change or the Back soft key to cancel.NoteTo listen to the voice mails:1. When the phone user interface prompts receiving new voice mails, press or orthe Connect soft key to dial out the access voice mail code.Voice Mail feature is not available on all servers, contact your system administrator formore information.Voice mail access code must be predefined on the system server. Contact yoursystem administrator for the more information.
