Customizing Your Phone35You can customize your SIP-T23P/G IP phone by personally configuring certain settings,for example, contrast, language and time & date. You can add contacts to the phone’slocal directory manually or from call history. You can also personalize different ringtones for different callers.This chapter provides basic operating instructions for customizing your phone. Backlightstatus on the LCD screen can be configured from the following options: Always On: Backlight is on permanently. Always Off: Backlight is off permanently. 15s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 300s, 600s or 1800s: Backlight is turned off when the phone isinactive after the designated time (in seconds).To configure the backlight via phone user interface:1.
