Resource Files209When configuring some features, you may need to upload resource files to the IP phone.The resources files can be local contact directory, remote phonebook and so on. Ask theYealink field application engineer for the resource file templates. If the resource file is tobe used for all IP phones of the same model, the access URL of the resource file is bestspecified in the .cfg file. However, if you want to specify the desiredphone to use the resource file, the access URL of the resource file should be specified inthe .cfg file.This chapter provides the detailed information on how to customize the followingresource files and specify the access URL: Replace Rule Template Dial-now Template Softkey Layout Template Local Contact File Remote XML Phonebook Specifying the Access URL of Resource FilesYou can create multiple replace rules using the replace rule template. After preparingthe replace rule template, you need to place the replace rule template to the rootdirectory of the provisioning server and specify the access URL in the configuration files.When editing a replace rule template, remember the following: indicates the start of a template and indicates the end ofa template. Create replace rules between and . When specifying the desired line(s) to apply the replace rule, the valid values are 0and line IDs. The digit 0 stands for all lines, multiple line IDs are separated bycomma. At most 20 replace rules can be added to the IP phone.
