User Guide for the SIP-T48G IP Phone90You can leave voice mails for someone else on the SIP-T48G IP phone. You can also listento the voice mails stored in a voice mailbox. When receiving a new voice mail, thephone will play a warning tone. A number icon (indicating the number of voice mailsyou haven't retrieved) appears both on and the Message menu icon.By default, users are prompted to enter a PIN before they retrieve voice mails or changegreetings settings. As a convenience to users who often access mailbox from the phonein a secure office within the organization, voice mail without PIN feature can beconfigured on the phone to allow users to access mailbox without entering PIN.To retrieve voice mails:1. When the phone prompts receiving a new voice mail, press or tap(indicating 1 voice mail you haven't retrieved) ->Message.2. Follow the voice prompt to retrieve your voice mail.NoteTo enable voice mail without PIN via web user interface:1. Click on Features->General Information.Before listening to voice mails, make sure the voice mail access code has beenconfigured on the phone.When all new voice mails are retrieved, the power indicator LED will go out and thenumber on Message menu icon will disappear.
